Is your work intentional, or do you know the moment when you see it?

Definitely in the moment. I usually go out with a rough idea. But I like capturing the moment when I see it.

I would describe my style as bright, vibrant, and forever evolving. I like to capture a wide variety of places and subjects.

How did you get into photography ?

My Mum bought me just an entry level camera for Christmas when I was about 15 because she didn’t know what to get me. It sat in the box for about a year before I said to my mum, “can we drive out to Bare Island and take some photos?” From then on, I fell in love with taking photos and always trying to find new locations to shoot.

If you could shoot anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?

The dream place to go and shoot would have to be Iceland. It has black sand beaches, volcanoes, mountains, ice sculptures, and some of the most spectacular waterfalls and waterways. I think it would be on the bucket list for many photographers.

Out of all of the photographs you have taken, which is your favourite and why ?

I think my current favourite shot would have to be the photo taken at Rainbow Beach in the Sunshine Coast of QLD. The 4WD driving along the sand highway, with the bright blue waters on one side and huge orange cliffs on the other.

What is your favourite time of day to shoot and why ?

My favourite time of day to shoot would definitely be sunrise. I love getting up bright and early to capture the golden light.
